  Got a same day appointment. The lady who booked and did the grooming is super nice. The price was right for my Yorkie. $45 was the cost and that was the full works. She handled my dog greatly and she was also done in 2 hours. The only down fall was: was it the best haircut ever? No, but it was worth the cost and I will be back.

  After taking both my dogs to K9 for a couple of years as well as bringing several different rescue animals that I have placed and help their elder owners maintain them. Several years I was informed that the lady who is their with her brother  that does the actual bathing refuses to give further service to my dogs. On our last visit when my wife picked up our boys I noticed that one of them had a very blood shot eye. I immediately took him to the vet who confirmed that he was injured by being poked in the eye. I fully believe that this was a complete accident, however they would not take responsibility for this when I called them. The owner then called me and was quite apologetic, as well as offering to refund us the full amount of our expenses of our vet. I mentioned to the owner who was very nice, however each time we would bring in our boys the lady in charge always would complain about how matted our dogs were. I some times felt she was wanting more money or a bigger tip. I ways always wanted to look in the rear of this tiny place that that was never allowed. They were always quite concerned about anyone seeing the work area saying they did not want the other dogs disturbed. Bottom line we now take our two boys and several of my rescues to a wonderful place on West Pico just west of Barrington on the North side who have these wonderful open areas and the first time I walked in they were more than happy to show me around. You trust people for so long never suspecting this kind of behavior. Really a disappointment but a good learning experience. Don't be shy to look and ask questions.

  We love K9 grooming! We take our dog, William, every few months and Elba always knows who he is! She is so sweet and kind! William has been going to her for years, starting with his time at the Lange Foundation. We decided to keep going to K9 groomer since William knew them - and it was the best decision! William is disabled and had a broken pelvis from being hit by a car. He is totally healed now, but very weary of people touching his hind quarters and tail. The staff is very gentle with William and I feel like my baby is in good hands! We love them and so appreciate their quality work!

  If you want your dog to get an actual hair cut, this is not the place. If you just want your dog shaved, then this is your place. They didn't listen to anything we said when it came to cutting our dogs hair and completely just buzzed her. Never bringing my dog here again.

  Me and my boyfriend take gibby and Marley and all the family dogs , it is a great place the dogs always come out with the best and cutest cut ! Elba is amazing, staff also has great customer servis. I reccomend this place for your dogs !

  They were amazing! Our dog was spoiled and looks (and smells) incredible! I can only recommend their service. I'd give 6 starts if possible! Price was great, the convenience of having them pick up and drop off by our front door is actually priceless. Our golden retriever looks like a show dog! We had tried two other mobile groomers before and they were not good. Look no further, they are really good!!!

  I take my rescue ShihTzu (Phoebe)  to be groomed every Thurs.  Alba is always happy see Phoebe and Phoebe is happy to see Alba.   Phoebe looks fabulous after Alba has attended to her.  The price is right and the 10th visit is free. You and your dog will be happy going to see Alba @K-9 Grooming!

  I took my rescue here today and was pretty excited after reading the reviews on yelp. I was appalled at the results....my poor baby was so upset when I picked him up. I immediately saw that they had nicked him near his forehead while cleaning his tear stains. When I mentioned it to the owner, I was told it will heal!! I was so upset. I am never coming back...it's cheaper than most places and now I know why. Horrible results...they did not cut the hair underneath his paws properly, poor guy has been licking one of his paws all day ever since we got him back. On inspection, I see they had nicked him under the paw as well.

Do yourself and your precious fur ball a favor and avoid this place. I regret my decision and hope my baby feels better soon.
